Hayden may be a bit of a manipulator. He likes to play with our phones or iPad ALL the time.
The other day, he wanted Mom's phone and said "Mom, you're my best friend. Can I play with your phone please?"
The very next day, as we were loading up to head to the doctor's office for a quick check he said "Dad, you're my best friend. Can I play with your phone please?
I thought I was special. Turns out I (and my wife) are just pockets for my boy that temporarily hold HIS toys.
We're still best friends though.
